If you are not so much into loud music and dancing, you can also enjoy walks along Chongqing's scenic roads, most famous of which is probably Nanbin Road south of Jiefangbei. This is where you can enjoy the best view of the city's skyline on foot. Another perfect location to enjoy this view is the Yikeshu viewing platform, situated on Nanshan or South Mountain. For a more up close and personal look at the city, and from a unique vantage point, you can enjoy one of the many two-river cruises. These cruise ships are situated at the Chaotianmen Pier where the two rivers meet, and the boat trip takes about 1-2 hours.
