Crown Grand Escalator is Asia’s second longest escalator with the whole ride. The escalator is 112m long, lift altitude is 52.7m, angle of slope is 30 degree, and the whole tour clocking in at 2 mins and 30 seconds. It is definitely worth a trip as both an example of the unique transportation in the city and how Chongqing has adapted to mountain city life. 

The escalator connect Lianglukou and Caiyuanba Railway Station, the slope is steep and the speed is fast, the escalator is a convenient way of transportation for local commuting. In the mountain metropolis, there are unique ways of transportation,  besides the cableway, the City's railway transit through a building, the second-longest escalator became popular among tourists due to its unusual way of transit.
