Hongya Cave is arguably one of the most famous attractions in Chongqing. On any social platform you can think of, Hongya Cave is always featured. It looks great in photos and videos, so you see it especially on Instagram and Tiktok. And today, I took a trip to make use of the quiet Monday evening to try and get some photos from high up on the bridge, as well as the new viewing platform on the road. Both locations give a very distinct and different look at Hongya Cave.

It is eerie to walk around one of the city's most famous and popular tourist destinations and have it almost entirely to myself, though. It is a very somber reminder of the state of the world today.
