On November 4, the fourth China International Import Expo (CIIE) started in Shanghai, where an exhibition hall was set up to fully display the image of Chongqing.

The exhibition hall reflects the new achievements and the new initiatives of Chongqing in expanding reform and opening-up, big data intelligence, eco-environmental protection, and promoting the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.

City iconic elements

Covering an area of 108 square meters, the comprehensive city image exhibition hall integrates the city's iconic elements, such as Chongqing People's Auditorium, Chongqing Grand Theater, and Chongqing Chaotianmen Bridge, highlighting the fresh look of Chongqing as an inland open highland.

The semicircular outer and a broad front signifies the good situation of opening up wider, connecting and attracting home and abroad, sharing new development opportunities with the rest of the world, and promoting win-win cooperation in Chongqing.

Modern elements with a strong sense of science and technology are integrated into the expression techniques. In the front of the hall, eight P4 full-color LED screens in two groups with the landscape pictures of Chongqing on are set up to fully show the appeal of the magic multi-dimensional city with lucid waters and lush mountains.

The main screen of the exhibition hall and the mirror floor paved in front blend into one harmonious whole, creating a more aesthetic, visual, stereoscopic, sci-fi effect.

Smart Manufacturing, Chongqing Taste and Charm

In the exhibition hall, each of the seven booths is set up with showcases and lightboxes to fully show Chongqing Smart Manufacturing, Chongqing Taste and Chongqing Charm.

Seven participating enterprises include Chongqing Jinkang New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., Zybio Inc., Jinshan Science & Technology (Group) Co., Ltd., Chongqing Dream Technology Co., Ltd., Chongqing Jiangxiaobai Liquor Co., Ltd., Chongqing Lalaiism Network Technology Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Dazu Rock Carvings Creative Cultural Industry Park.

At the CIIE, Chongqing organized one investment promotion event, one project contract signing ceremony and two cultural exchange events.

Among them, the investment promotion event will invite the Fortune 500 enterprises, well-known multinational companies, as well as important chambers of commerce and business associations to participate in the informal talks, so as to publicize and promote Chongqing's investment environment and attract enterprises to invest in Chongqing.

At the ceremony, contracts will be signed for a number of key projects. The cultural exchange events consist of an exhibition of Chongqing's comprehensive image and that of Jiefangbei National Pedestrian Street, displaying the achievements of Chongqing in all respects as an inland open highland and an international consumer center.
