Chongqing- The 2021 Southwest Region and Chengdu-Chongqing Cultural and Tourism Public Service Product Procurement Conference will kick off on October 29 in Chongqing, according to the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development.

A brand for procurement events in the southwest

Based on the conference, Sichuan and Chongqing will actively expand their circles of friends to other southwestern regions, including Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet, and Guangxi, aiming to build a brand jointly for products procurement events of public culture and tourism service in the southwest.

The conference showcases the public products and services of culture and tourism in the southwest and promotes the public service resources of culture and tourism in the southwest.

Online and offline events combined

The conference was held both online and offline, and the online events will be launched on October 15. 

Relying on the "Chongqing Public Culture Cloud" platform, online events will showcase digital resources in Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet, Guangxi, and Chengdu.

The events will also promote, display, and trade cultural and creative products, tourism, intangible cultural heritage, cultural services, goods and equipment, and technological products.

Other content to be shown involves the achievements of the cultural and tourism industry in the southwest, preferential policies, products, new projects, and the region's local culture.

Besides, these events will show outstanding cases of various spaces in grassroots culture, public reading, beautiful villages culture, business culture, cultural exhibition, and cross-border culture and art, which will be networked, regularized, standardized, and finally be beneficial to the public.

Offline events will be held at venues in the Changjiahui Danzishi Square, the Changjiahui Shopping Park Square, Danzishi Old Street Fountain Square, the Dazhong Bookstore Block, the Wang Family Courtyard, etc.

Those events include subsidized performances for the public, exhibitions, and sales carried out by more than 150 entities of culture and tourism products, as well as exchanges and discussions.

It is interesting to know that the conference this year will cover various types of products and services, including creation and performance, lectures and training, exhibition and display, culture and tourism planning, tourism services, volunteer services, film and television production, cultural and creative design, digital services, reading and publishing, promotion of intangible cultural heritage, and tourism products.

The conference will build a stage for displaying, exchanging, and trading culture and tourism products, services, and resources in the southwest.
