Chongqing- In the first seven months of this year, Chongqing's foreign trade import and export reached 442.45 billion yuan ( 68.26 billion U.S. Dollars), an increase of 31.6% over the same period last year, according to the Chongqing Customs Monday.

Among them, exports value was 276.34 billion yuan, and imports value was 166.11 billion yuan, up by 31.1% and 32.3%, respectively.

As for July, Chongqing achieved a total trade value of 65.97 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 5.3%. Exports accounted for 44.41 billion yuan, an increase of 5.3%, and imports 21.56 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2%.

In the first seven months, the trade value of Chongqing with the three trading partners, including the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the European Union (EU), and the United States (U.S.), were 71.57 billion yuan, 69.81 billion yuan, and 66.42 billion yuan, up by 18.4%, 26%, and 26.9% respectively. Meanwhile, trade with countries along the Belt and Road increased 32%, with 121.09 billion yuan.

Additionally, during the same period, the trade of private enterprises was 192.75 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 68.6%. The figure came to 40.72 billion yuan and 208.6 billion yuan for the state-owned enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises, with an increase of 50.5% and 7.4%, respectively.

Meanwhile, In the first seven months, Chongqing's general trade import and export was 150.18 billion yuan, an increase of 54.3%. Their growth rate was 14.6% and 42.3% for processing trade and bonded logistics, with 194.56 billion yuan and 95.66 billion yuan, respectively.

Exports

Moreover, in the first seven months, the export value of Chongqing laptops was 107 billion yuan, an increase of 17.6%; the export values of integrated circuits and tablet computers were 18.52 billion yuan and 13.03 billion yuan, an increase of 44.5% and 1.7 times respectively.  

In the same period, the export value of motorcycles and automobiles were 8.33 billion yuan and 6.75 billion yuan, showing an increase of 58.7% and 98.8%, respectively.

Imports

At the same time, Chongqing imported 67.56 billion yuan of integrated circuits, an increase of 16.8%; imports of semiconductor manufacturing equipment were 9.19 billion yuan, an increase of 11.4 times; imports of computer parts and accessories were 5.07 billion yuan, an increase of 35.8%.

In the same period, the import of metal ore and mineral ore was 9.81 billion yuan, an increase of 91.1%; the import of agricultural products was 9.72 billion yuan, an increase of 69.7%; the import of automobiles and auto parts was 4.96 billion yuan, an increase of 2 times.
