Foreign competitors at 2018 Chongqing International Women’s Half Marathon

The 2018 Chongqing International Women’s Half Marathon kicked off at 8:30 on Oct. 28 at Nanbin Park in China’s southwestern city of Chongqing. Some 10600 famale runners from 18 countries participated the largest marathon in China.

This year’s marathon includes half marathon (21.0975km), 10-kilometer run, mini run and mini family run, bringing together professional and amateur participants. 10,600 participants from 18 countries and regions took part.   Because of the attractive science and looks of the runners, the marathon is called “Chinese Most Beautiful Marathon”.

The marathon is a member of the Marathon Committee of Chinese Athletic Association (CAAMC) and has held the marathon 3 times since 2015. At the beginning of this year, the marathon was certified as “Silver Medal Match” by the Chinese Athletic Association (CAA).

The standard of the event is the A1 competition of CAA marathon.  The marathon strives to be certified as “Gold Medal Match” this year.
