Chongqing – Starting from January 13, the city’s micro and small business owners will be eligible to take a 16-hour online training course for free, as part of efforts of local human resources authority to promote the development of micro and small enterprises.

Micro and small business owners and their key management personnel, startup companies of innovation and incubation centers, demonstration workshops for poverty alleviation and employment promotion, as well as relevant county-level officials for human resource and social security are the main targeted trainees, according to a notice published on the official website of the online training school.

The online training sessions will incorporate a total of 16 lessons, with 8 class hours of compulsory courses and another 8 class hours of optional courses, ranging from the city's preferential policies for innovation, startups, and inclusive tax relief to live streaming sales skills, business administration, HR recruitment, and advertisement promotion.

This is a nonprofit program initiated by the Chongqing Human Resource Development Service Center under the Municipal Human Resource and Social Security Bureau.

"The main purpose of such training is to familiarize business owners with the latest national policies on supporting the development of micro and small enterprises, optimize the overall employment and innovation environment, and to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries," said an official with the Municipal Human Resource and Social Security Bureau.

All fees included are waivered for registered trainees and those who finish the entire curriculum will be awarded a digital Certificate of Completion. What's more, the event's organizer also prepared a lot of gift packages to encourage trainees to make full use of the training sessions.
