On September 27th, according to news from Yubei District, the 5-km-long "cliffside pathway" in Yufengshan Town, Yubei District, Chongqing was officially put into use. It allows citizens to walk in the mountains and forests and enjoy the beautiful scenery. In addition, with a lake and flowers along the way, the 5-km-long bicycle loop of Yufeng Mountain has also become popular on social media. Visitors could exercise and enjoy the scenery there and share it on social media.

The cliffside pathway is located in Yufeng Mountain Forest Park, starting from the dry soil management and conservation station of Yufengshan Forest Farm and ending at the fork of Dongfangshanshui (Oriental Landscape) Senior Apartment. The pathway runs north-south, with a total length of 5.2 km and a width of 2.4 m. It is comfortable, ornamental, ecological, and tree-lined, composed of barrier-free trails, artificial trails, and plank roads.

In terms of comfort, the pathway adopts a barrier-free design to meet the needs of different people for leisure, fitness, and sightseeing. Both sides of the path are designed with the theme of nature and ecology and are decorated with common trees and shrubs such as red maple, osmanthus, Tuberous Sword Fern, and garden cosmos. The cliffside viewing platform is built on the ridge and is the best viewing corridor overlooking Yufu Industrial Park and Longxing Industrial Park.

In recent years, Yubei District has been protecting the "lung lobe" of the central city and has built the eco-security shields. Through measures such as renovating rural houses, transforming roads leading to mountains and forest landscapes, building scenic loops, constructing municipal facilities, and setting up a slow-traffic system, etc., Yufeng Mountain has been made into a high-quality "forest oxygen bar" shared by all citizens in the main urban area. On this National Day, citizens of Chongqing can start a journey of "breathing in forests" in Yufeng Mountain on the outskirts of the main urban area without traveling far.

The bicycle loop of Yufeng Mountain Forest Park, which has attracted quite a few citizens, has a length of 5.2 km, a width of 3.5 m, and a sidewalk of 430 m. The pavement is paved with colored asphalt, which is stabler and smoother. The long red bicycle lane is set against the surrounding green forests and the sparkling lake, showing vitality in the tranquility.

At present, Yubei District is building Yufeng Mountain into a 4A-level scenic spot. The Yufengshan Town will hold activities with the themes of "Season of Perfecting Supporting Facilities" and "Year of Brand Building" to introduce and upgrade the restaurants, bars, bookstores, cinemas, and playgrounds with characteristic industries. It will continue to improve the parking lot and other supporting facilities, such as the Starry Night B&B and the RV camping base to enhance its reception capacity.
