The 12th China Western Animation Culture Festival will be held in Bishan District and Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Center simultaneously from September 30 to October 4, according to the press release from Bishan District on September 10. As the permanent hosting place of this Festival, Bishan District will build China Western Animation Industrial Park, striving to build it into a new exemplary place of China's animation industry.

Since the approval of the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China in 2009, China Western Animation Culture Festival has been successfully held for 11 sessions and become an important cultural tourism IP in the Chengdu-Chongqing area. During the exhibition, the Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Center will continue its indoor exhibition as before, with activities such as product exhibition and sales and e-sports competitions as main activities. Visitors need to purchase tickets to enter. The Bishan venue for the event is located in Fengxiang Lake Children's Park, where the First Western China Digital Economy Industry Summit, National ACG Competition Chengdu-Chongqing Sub-Division, the Animation Image Final of the Western (International) Digital Economy Industrial Ecological Zone, ACG Derivative Garage Kit Exhibition, and Itasha Exhibition, will be held. All activities are free of charge.
