Chongqing - The 2020 Smart China Expo Oline(SCE) will be held from Sep.15 to 17. Due to the epidemic, the high-tech event of this year will be carried out online, a form that enables more exhibitors and audience to participate and enjoy the wonderful forums, exhibitions, and contests through cutting edge technologies.

iChongqing carries out a series of interviews with technology experts who have or will participate in SCE to share their knowledge on how the smart technologies can change the industries and lives as well as how the SCE benefits their business.

In this episode, we reached out to Jasper Eggebeen, the senior manager of supply chain solutions from Holland International Distribution Council (HIDC). The HIDC has organized 14 member companies to attend the 2020 Smart China Expo online, and they will seek business opportunities for smart logistics.

Holland is one of the front runners on smart logistics. “Our members are interested in setting up partnerships with Chinese companies and shippers and joining in business activities in China.” Said Jasper. “At the moment travel is suspended due to COVD19, we believe smart China Expo is a great opportunity to work in the current situation.”He continued. When he discussed this opportunity with the members, and they jumped into the opportunity, and a couple of companies will join.

During the interview, Jasper shared rich knowledge on the concept of smart logistics and his expectations for the coming event.
