2019 HD Lemon · Tongnan International Half Marathon will kick off at Fenjin Square, Tongnan District on Nov. 3. It is the only professional marathon event in Tongnan District and the premier event of Chongqing Tongnan International Lemon Festival. On the afternoon of Sept. 18, the press conference of the event was held. Sponsored by the Chongqing Administration of Sport and the People’s Government of Tongnan District, the event is divided into two races including a half marathon and mini-marathon and will attract 5,000 participants. Registration runs from Sept. 18 to Oct. 20, and applications are open until the spaces become full.

The registration fee is RMB 100 for half marathon, RMB 60 for a public group of mini-marathon, and RMB 180 for a family group of mini-marathon. The registration fee will be returned to elite runners after the race. Aside from the official site of the event, such websites as M Cloud Sports, 51 sai.com, Codoon.com, Maramara, zuicool, ZX 42195.com, and Geexek.com are available for registration.

The bonus, supporting activities and experience services of the race has been upgraded. For one thing, the personal ranking bonus will be added, with the total amount of RMB 140,000. For another, an Olympic champion will come to run with participants. Moreover, the racecourse will cross the new Fujiang Bridge and the Jinfo Bridge and pass through the Yunhe Bridge and the Lianhua Bridge, giving a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery on both sides of Fujiang River. Running through such scenic spots as Fujiang Avenue, Fujiang National Wetland Park and Dafo Temple, runners can find historical traces of Tongnan’s urban development and appreciate the scenery of the wetland park, thus enjoying a unique running journey.
