Chongqing - At 19:30 every night during the New Year's Day holiday, Chongqing's first resident acrobatic show, Top of The World, will deliver a fantastic performance for the audience.

A final rehearsal was taking place at Chongqing International Circus City for this New Year's Day performance, hoping to greet residents and tourists with the biggest lineup and best conditions. The audience can enjoy the acrobatic performances of the Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe, which has won gold medals in international and domestic competitions over the past 70 years.

In addition to car skills, big flywheels, and swing pipes, visitors can also experience excellent performances and stunts. Clowns and dreamy floats can be interacted with inside and outside the theater. 

This New Year's Eve, Chongqing International Circus City will provide a unique New Year's Eve event featuring a sense of ritual to greet the New Year. With the theme of "extreme" and "happiness," the performance focuses on "modern acrobatic performance" and uses high-tech tools, including 3D holographic technology and high-altitude machinery. Through the immersive experience, the audience can experience an exciting and beautiful show that is complicated and refined at the same time.

The Chongqing Acrobatic Arts Troupe made remarkable achievements in 2022. Their performance, "Boogie Man," saw off competition from hundreds of entries at the 11th National Acrobatics Competition and won the Gold Chrysanthemum Award, the highest recognition for professional acrobatics in China. It's the third time they have won this prestigious award, following previous successes in 2018 and 2021 with "Phantom Dove" and "Fairy Bean."
