Chongqing- There is a famous motto in China: "Lucid waters and green mountains are a treasured resource." Chinese president Xi Jinping first coined this motto.

In Chinese, this phrase is both catchy and easily understood. However, China has also manifested its importance to environmental protection and green development through practical measures, while many provinces have formulated policies for ecological restoration.

The Chongqing Municipal Government has ambitious plans for the next two decades. During this time, they will focus on 27 major projects that will completely restore the ecology of forests, grasslands, lakes, rivers, wetlands, farmland and urban areas in Chongqing. This will enhance the natural environment, as well as tighten the bond that exists between people and nature.
