Chongqing-The Chinese delegation of Chongqing Yuelai Investment Group Co., Ltd.’s flew recently to Lyon, France, and signed a letter of intent on cooperation with Tony Parker Adéquat Academy (TPAA).

TPAA was established by the former famous NBA player Tony Parker in 2019. The academy is the top French one with a combination of sports and education, which enrolls teenagers at and above 15 years old for professional basketball training. By now, the academy has over 1000 trainees.

Yuelai Investment Group keeps concentrating on the combination development of exhibitions and sports, establishing the first national sports and education combination center, YUE Sports.

YUE Sports, located in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, has eight sports events, including football, track and field, fencing, basketball, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, and swimming. The center has three bases: a professional sports training base, an athletic sports talent base, a teenager sports game base, one sport and education combination research campsite, and one sport smart life salon.  

Both sides have further discussions on cooperation and getting more knowledge of the development orientations of TPAA and YUE Sports, showing high expectations for establishing new international events in Chongqing.

As introduced by Wang Jumeng, the board chairman of Yuelai Investment Group, taking advantage of the agreement, each side will play its role in deepening international exchange and cooperation, innovating event mode, strengthening diversified exhibition operations, and driving the combination development of sports and education.

“YUE Sports tallies with the positioning of TPAA; I do hope to realize the internationalized development through cooperating with YUE Sports,” said Agnès Perrin-Turenne, vice president of TPAA.
