Chongqing- The Mountain City is the only metropolis in China where motorcycles are permitted to drive on city roads. As a result, Chongqing is, without a doubt, China's most tolerant city for motorcyclists.
Visitors to Chongqing will likely have seen first-hand how buildings stand upon mountainsides and how motorbikes are the most efficient means for passing through densely packed neighborhoods.
However, Chongqing is not only home to plenty of motorcyclists but also the world's largest production base for motorbikes, accounting for one-quarter of all production worldwide. Famous brands like Zongshen, Lifan, Jialing, Jianshe, and Loncin are all produced in Chongqing, so the city proudly assumes the title of "Motorbike Capital."
