Chongqing - Districts and counties in Chongqing offer various discount tours for China Tourism Day on May 19, and the sub-venue was held in Fengjie County in Chongqing city.

Chongqing Culture and Tourism gift packs were presented to representatives like model workers, medical staff, and the people who are on the frontline of the fight against COVID-19.

The A-class tourist attractions and the accommodations in scenic areas in Chongqing have introduced various measures regarding their conditions, including issuing consumption coupons, free tickets, and discount measures for residents.

Some 5A class tourist attractions in Chongqing - such as Jinfo Mountain Scenic Spot, Shenlong Gorge Scenic Spot, Simian Mountain Scenic Spot in Jiangjin District, Wulong Natural Three Bridge Scenic Spot, Dazu Rock Carving Scenic Spot - are free or half the price of admission tickets for Chongqing's residents from May 19.

It is understood that districts and counties also prepared many splendid cultural activities for residents in the wake of China Tourism Day.

Libraries, museums, cultural centers, and art galleries in Dadukou District are open free to the public. There are theatrical performances, calligraphy and photography exhibitions, concerts, large-scale national orchestra concerts, etc.

Beibei District Cultural Center, with its library, and memorial hall, carried out a painting and calligraphy exhibition of Beibei Jialing Painting Academy, cultural salon, history reading clubs, and family education sharing sessions.

The fashionable dialect comedy show "Fun Yanpai" was unveiled on May 19, another cultural and tourism performance brand by the Chongqing Folk Arts Troupe this year, following "The Art of Mountain City in Memory" at the Yuchaofang Theater. 

It not only brings together the popular talk shows, magic comedies, sketch comedies, and other fashion performances that young people like but also integrates traditional performance forms such as cross talk and hawking, plus the most charming folk bands from the local area.
