Chongqing- Chongqing has launched more than 40 measures and over 100 customized tour routes this spring to provide more travel benefits, including parent-child tours, weekend tours, travel by cars, health-care travel, and fruit-picking experiences, according to a conference Thursday.

On March 31, the 2022 Spring Tourism and the 7th Chongqing Cultural Tourism Consumer-Benefit Season (Spring and Summer) press briefing was held.  From April until September, the activity season will cover more than 1,000 online and offline cultural and special tourism activities in 14 themes to promote cultural tourism consumption.

With the theme of "Slow Life in the City, New Experience in the Countryside", this event conforms to the new trends and changes in the cultural and tourism consumption market in recent years. At the same time, the event focuses on urban tourism with characteristics of the mountain city and the cultural tourism industry to empower rural revitalization. Meanwhile, the event advocates urban leisure and slow-paced life and the innovative experience of rural farming culture, focusing on travel by cars, rural camping, urban performances, hot springs, and health care to deeply integrate with the content of the 2022 spring tourism conference, therefore, launching a number of high-quality, diversified, slow-paced, and in-depth experience cultural tourism consumption concepts, industry formats, and products.

The activity season will include one launching ceremony, fourteen special themed activities, and many other activities in district/county sub-venues, forming a "1+14+N" activity pattern. The launching ceremony of the main venue will be held in Yuanxiang Central Park in Tongliang District in April, and there will be nearly 200 cultural and tourism enterprises issuing consumer coupons.

The online customer-benefit activities will be implemented by the "Huiyou Chongqing" platform, in cooperation with financial and regional platforms, leading cultural and tourism enterprises, and other channels to achieve the subsidy for people. It is estimated that more than 2,000 cultural and tourism merchants will participate, and the social funds will be no less than 30 million yuan.
