Chongqing- The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games is coming, snow and ice sports are hot in China. Local people in Chongqing find Fengdu Nantian Lake National Tourism Resort an ideal place to enjoy the snowflakes, watch the white and flawless frozen lake, go skiing at the ski resort, or listen to the rustling sound of snow among the trees. 

Chongqing Fengdu Nantian Lake National Tourism Resort is located in Xiannyuhu Town, Fengdu County, Chongqing. It is 160 kilometers away from the main urban area of Chongqing, with an average altitude of 1,750 meters and an average temperature of  0°C in winter. Within the resort, there are rarely-seen mountain lakes that are extremely large in area, vast virgin forests, and precious high mountain wetlands and grasslands in the Wuling Mountain area. It is a resort for ecological leisure tourism, featuring mountain lakes and forests, sightseeing, and winter sports. At present, the 5-square-kilometer lake surface is thinly iced, reflecting sunshine like a mirror.

In preparation for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and in response to the call of "driving 300 million people to participate in ice and snow sports", Nantian Lake strives to build the most professional alpine ski resort in southwest China. So far, Fengdu has built two ice and snow parks of more than 50,000 square meters and successfully held a number of ice and snow activities and sports events, accelerating its "cold resources" into a "hot economy."

Nantian Lake Ice and Snow Park is a large-scale ice and snow amusement park with Chongqing's most comprehensive and participatory ice and snow entertainment projects. As one of the snow parks with the highest altitude in the southwest region, it has opened many popular amusement projects such as snow motorcycle, snow assault boat, snow tank, snow banana boat, and snow excavator, which can meet the different needs for ice and snow entertainment.

Meanwhile, Nantian Lake International Ski Resort is one of the largest alpine ski resorts in southwest China, covering an area of more than 400,000 m², with a total investment of 330 million yuan. According to the standard of holding international ice and snow events, it has designed and built three professional ski tracks, two intermediate ski tracks, two primary ski tracks, supporting a vast ski service reception hall, ski theme hotel, professional children's DIY park, international snow equipment stores, and other service facilities. Also, it has opened more than ten ice and snow amusement items such as alpine skiing, snowmobile, snow frisbee, snow dash boat, etc. As a comprehensive ski resort integrating skiing, sliding, snow play, and catering, it is also equipped with 80,000 square meters of special snow playground that provides a one-stop skiing experience.
