National Day China 2021 | Chongqing

Chongqing- We want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Chinese National Day, celebrated on Oct. 1 every year to commemorate the founding of the People's Republic of China. On that day, lots of large-scale activities are held nationwide. The 7-day holiday was from Oct. 1 to 7th and is called 'Golden Week,' during which usually see's a large number of Chinese people travel around the country. I (Alex）decided take a walk and express my thoughts. The city felt very vibrant even though the official Xinhua News Agency reported that over the seven-day holiday beginning Oct. 1, China saw 515 million trips taken, just over 70% during the same period last year before the coronavirus. Many Chinese decided to take in other forms of entertainment, from movies to staying at home with the family.
