For a long time, I have been looking at photos taken from a certain location in Chongqing. They captured Raffles City and the skyline, but their photos were framed by a brick archway. I knew the general area of where those photos were taken, but never the exact location, so that was what I set out to find.
It turns out, I have been walking around that area so many times, but on the floor above, I never realized that I could walk down, closer to the water, and there it was. I haven't done evening photography and long-exposure photography for a while, so I thought this would be an excellent chance to do so from a new place. Unfortunately, I have been really unlucky recently when it comes to the city lights. The city isn't as bright recently as it used to be, but maybe that will change with the upcoming holiday.
