Chongqing- The 5th Health and Recreation Conference of Shizhu County, Chongqing is scheduled to be held from July 18 to 20 in Huangshui Town of Shizhu County. Under the theme of "Traditional Chinese Medicine, Health and Recreation," the Conference will carry out ten theme activities, including keynote speeches by experts, a Seminar on the Development of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry, and the show of Tujia culture.

This edition of the Conference is co-sponsored by the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang and CPPCC Chongqing Municipal Committee. It is designed to pool more talent, deepen communication and cooperation, strive for new progress in constructing the "Health and Recreation in Shizhu," and support the development of the health and recreation industry in Chongqing and even in China.

The opening ceremony is slated to be held on the morning of July 19 in the "Wonderland Huangshui" Theater in Huangshui Town. Meanwhile, the signing ceremony of health and recreation projects will also be conducted. Other activities include the release of Shizhu's Goldthread Industry White Paper, signing of agreements on Qin Liangyu Culture and triathlon development, and the launching ceremony of Xituo Ancient Town-National 4A Tourist Attraction, Taiyang Lake Training Base of China Triathlon Sports Association, and "Top 100 Counties of Sustainable Health and Recreation Industry in China". Besides, four experts and scholars are expected to deliver keynote speeches on the development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), TCM-based health preservation and physical therapy, and the development focus of the health and recreation industry.

In addition, 2021 China (Shizhu) Chengdu-Chongqing Triathlon Open, Tujia's Songs and Dances Show, Seminar on Development of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry, Investment Promotion & Seminar, the inspection of "Health and Recreation in Shizhu" will be held during the Conference.
