The cruise home port of Cuntan international new town will design characteristic cultural scenes, which will become a new ideal place for appreciating the magnificent scenery along Two Rivers and Four Riversides.

Covering an area of 1.6 square kilometers and serving as the core area of Cuntan international new town, the cruise home port will build systems for the service, trade, and tourism industries, form a core functional area for international consumption, international commerce, and international exchanges, and construct a modern port area integrating ships, the port, the town, tourism, shopping, and entertainment.
In fact, the cruise home port is slated to connect the port with the urban rail transit to form a traffic pattern of "one axis and two cores."
The "axis," with a length of about 800 meters, is perpendicular to the Yangtze River. It starts from the port, passes through the central area, and extends to the Cuntan station of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 9.
As the axis for the development of Cuntan International New Town links the transit-oriented development (TOD) complex of the cruise center with the TOD complex of the Cruise Home Port station, highlighting the perfect integration of the well-proportioned urban space and the charming natural landscape. Besides, the Century Cuntan Park will be erected in the central area of the axis.
The "two cores" refer to the TOD complex of the Cruise Home Port station and the cruise center's TOD complex. Centers for international consumption, international commerce, and international exchanges will be built around the two complexes.
Furthermore, the Cruise Home Port will also strive for a regional landscape pattern comprising the riverside environment along Shuangxi River and near the Yangtze River and the scenery along the surrounding roads and a mountain park.
