Chongqing- A company in southwestern China's Chongqing Municipality recently obtained a tax rebate of 15,000 yuan, marking the completion of the first cross-border e-commerce B2B export tax rebate in Chongqing, according to the Chongqing Municipal Tax Service, State Taxation Administration on March 24th.
B2B (business-to-business) exports refer to trade where domestic companies export goods directly to overseas counterparts or warehouses through cross-border logistics and then negotiate transactions through local e-commerce platforms.
Chongqing officially launched the B2B pilot export business for cross-border e-commerce on September 1, 2020, and is among the second batch of pilot cities in China.
Chongqing's smooth tax rebate service will instill further confidence in the B2B exports and open international markets to Chinese products.
According to Mao Qiongguo, head of the import and export tax management section of the Shapingba District tax service, officials handled the tax rebate in a timely manner following receipt of the declaration, demonstrating the smooth process that B2B cross-border e-commerce companies can now enjoy.
Chongqing Boyashi E-Commerce Co., Ltd. is an enterprise primarily engaged in internet sales, physical store wholesale, international cargo forwarding, customs formalities, and import-export goods and technology.
The process of submitting an online declaration to an on-site inspection by tax bureau officials and the final receipt of the tax rebate was completed within five days.
Liu Jiaqin, assistant general manager of Boyashi, commented, "The tax rebate was handled quickly and smoothly. This has allowed us to experience the high efficiency of government operations and favorable business environment, which has strengthened our confidence in further expansion into the cross-border e-commerce export market."
