Chongqing- The Spring Festival is nearly upon us, and now brightly colored lanterns can be seen all over Chongqing in public squares, parks, roads, and bridges through spectacular displays.

Many are so bright and colorful they seem like freshly opened blossoms, which augment the vibrant and lively atmosphere as people eagerly anticipate the new spring and national holiday.

Lights are set temporarily for the occasion in a variety of attractive forms, including strings of lanterns hung vertically, more prominent decorative features, Chinese knots, small artistic works, and other forms like re-useable projectors.
