Chongqing UrbanTech Forum, jointly held by the Western (Chongqing) Science City, China Everbright Limited, and Terminus Group, kicked off at the Western (Chongqing) Science City on December 15.

Forty-one enterprises and academic institutes, including Tekuma Frenchman, which was born out of MIT in Boston and QI-ANXIN Technology Group Inc., signed agreements with the Chongqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Terminus Group to settle down in the Everbright AI Industrial Base with a total investment of over 10 billion yuan (about 1.53 billion U.S. dollars).

Of these 41 projects from the electronic information industry, 13 are R&D bases, four joint laboratories, 12 regional headquarters, 10 data centers, and two strategic cooperation. They will draw more innovation contributors of digitalization and intelligentization to the Western (Chongqing) Science City.

Tekuma Frenchman plans to develop a project to build future urban spaces integrating production, living, and a sound ecological environment.

Specifically, Terminus-QI-ANXIN Urbantech Security Joint Laboratory will research AI & IoT security products and construction of cybersecurity systems and build an AI urban security operating center.

China Electronics Standardization Institute is expected to start experimental verification of incubation and application of national industrial policies and standards.

Moreover, the Big Data Center of Smart Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnosis Support Platform and Smart Household Electricity Management System are also contained in these 41 projects.

Zhongguancun Big Data Industry Alliance is about to set up its Chongqing branch, building a big data industrial development fund with others. It will realize cooperation about prospect research and planning of Chongqing big data industrial development and establish big data talent training bases in the Western (Chongqing) Science City.
