On September 1, China Railway Express (Yuxinou) launched the special train for B2B export in cross-border e-commerce (CBEC) at Chongqing Tuanjie Village Railway Central Station in Shapingba District. It is the first special train for CBEC B2B export in China.
This train has 43 containers, mainly containing shoes and hats, household goods, daily provisions, and other commodities, with a value of nearly 40 million yuan. Departing from Chongqing, the train passes through Alataw Pass and finally arrives in Europe and other regions.
Different from previous CBEC special trains, it is the first B2B train launched by CR Express (Yuxinou).
This August, the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China issued the Announcement on Expanding the Pilot Program of Supervision over Business-to-Business Export in Cross-border E-commerce. Since September 1, a total of 12 customs offices directly under the Central Government, including Chongqing Customs District P.R.CHINA, will be added for the pilot program of supervision over B2B export in CBEC, with two export supervision codes "9710" and "9810" added, thus creating a special customs clearance method for related enterprises.
Wang Huoquan, Executive Deputy General Manager of YUXINOU-Pacific Integrated Logistics Group Multimodal Company Limited, is the customer representative of this train. Wang introduced that the stable operation of CR Express (Yuxinou) has satisfied the demand of CBEC logistics. The launch of the special train for B2B export further enriched the export path of goods, improved the efficiency of export customs clearance, and reduced the comprehensive cost of e-commerce enterprises.
Besides, it will also further promote the development of CBEC in Chongqing. According to statistics, from January to August this year, CRE (Yuxinou) delivered more than 2,300 boxes of CBEC goods, strongly promoting the exchanges and cooperation in the field of CBEC among countries along the Belt and Road. In the first half-year, Chongqing's total import and export volume in CBEC increased by 27.2% compared with the same period last year, becoming a new highlight in the city's foreign trade.
