With the further improvement of  COVID-19 prevention and control situation, the acrobatic Magic City and Extreme Happiness Show at Chongqing International Circus City has fully resumed its performance on August 17, 2020 (Monday), according to Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe Co., Ltd. From that day on, the show is performed at 19:30 every day, bringing more joy to local citizens and tourists from other places.

The international on-site Magic City and Extreme Happiness Show was designed by Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe for domestic and foreign tourists and local citizens. Taking "extreme" and "happiness" as themes, and the "modern acrobatic performance" as the core, this show is supported by 3D holographic technique, high-altitude machinery and other high-tech means. It comprises many performances that have won many gold awards in international and domestic competitions in recent years, including the high-altitude thong, trick-cycling, the breaking wheel, the big trampoline, etc. The audience will surely enjoy an unprecedented extreme art feast that is exciting and breathtaking.

Since its first public performance in May last year, this show has been staged for more than 250 times and has been well received by the audience. After taking a hit from the COVID-19 pandemic, the show was temporarily suspended before Spring Festival and only resumed on May 22, with three performances a week. As the prevention and control situation of the pandemic has further improved, it is performed every day from August 17.
