Chongqing- Back on June 18th, 2020, the themed photography event ‘Citizens Shoot Chongqing’ was held in Damotan Wetland Park of Tianma Village, Beibei District.

The area was once a desolate and heavily polluted backwater of Beibei District, but in recent years, a landscaping and beautification project has successfully transformed the lands into a pristine and attractive wetland park environment that citizens now love.

One of the main attractions is a dramatic waterfall eight meters high and forty meters wide, which forms an appealing backdrop as the roar of the water in the background and spray elegantly drifts through the air.

While the falls of Wanzhou and Simian Mountain are famous sights in Chongqing, the fact people can visit this waterfall so close to the main urban area is still relatively unknown, and new infrastructure also makes the attraction far more accessible.

The ‘Citizens Shoot Chongqing’ photography event chose this location to host their fourth annual meeting, and many participants were amazed by the pristine ecology and landscapes they were visiting for the first time.
