China Express Airlines will open direct flights from Chongqing to Luang Prabang and to Vientiane, Laos respectively on December 20 and 22.
Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport
The former departs from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport every Friday at 00:30 and lands on Luang Prabang at 1:40 with the flight number of G54855; it then departs from Luang Prabang at 2:40 of the same day and arrives in Chongqing at 5:50 with the flight number of G54856 (Beijing Time).
The latter will be operated every Wednesday and Sunday. Flight G52805 takes off from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 0:35 and arrives at Vientiane Wattay International Airport at 2:20; Flight G52806 leaves Vientiane Wattay International Airport at 3:20 and lands on Chongqing at 6:45 (Beijing Time).
Chongqing-Luang Prabang is China Express Airlines’ first international air route departing from Chongqing; this is also the first time for Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport to have non-stop flights to the two cities in Laos. The company now enjoys four international air routes, which are Tianjin-Mandalay, Zhengzhou-Mandalay, Zhanjiang-Bangkok and Zhanjiang-Phnom Penh.
