On Dec. 3rd, an African delegation including ambassadors from 29 African countries gathered in Chongqing to participate in China (Chongqing) – Africa Cooperation Conference. After the conference, iChongqing has conducted interview with H.E. Teshome Toga, Ethiopian Ambassador to China.

Mr. Toga said that Ethiopia is the only African country that has consulate general in Chongqing; this is because Chongqing has lots of potential and opportunities to do business with Ethiopia. “Cooperation between Chongqing and Ethiopia is a very important part of the cooperation between China and Ethiopia”, he said.  Mr. Toga also pointed out that a good filed for cooperation in the future is tourism. He said that many Chinese tourists are really interested in travel to Africa, therefore, he hopes to promote more investment in this area.
