On November 11th, travel agent delegations from across the world arrived in Chongqing ahead of the Chongqing Global Travel Agents Conference held in the city. Over the next three days, iChongqing will follow one of the travel groups on a trip to experience Chongqing's world heritage sites. This three-day trip will take the participants to Wulong Fairy Mountain, The Dragon Dance in Tongliang, and the Rock Carvings in Dazu.

An Early Start

Setting out from the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Nan'an District at around 8:00 in the morning, 5 buses with travel agents from around the world embarked on their world heritage trip, heading to Wulong Fairy Mountain and the Three Stone Bridges, one of the most famous tourist destinations in Chongqing, added to the list of World Heritage sites in 2007.

During the trip, a local guide is sharing information about Chongqing; it's long history, and the tourist destinations the agents will be visiting.

First Stop: Top of the Fairy Mountain

The first stop of the trip World Heritage was the top of the fairy mountain to enjoy the lush grasslands and the fresh, clean air. Although the temperature is noticeably lower at 1900 meters above sea level, the scenery and the refreshing boost of Oxygen makes it an enjoyable experience.

Second Stop: The Three Bridges

The second stop on the trip was the Three Bridges, one of the highest-rated tourist attractions in Chongqing.  A truly remarkable experience and a view that today's visitors will not soon forget. The guests were amazed at what they saw in Wulong.

Third Stop: Impression of Wulong

The last stop on today's trip was the Live Theatrical Performance Impression of Wulong, directed by renowned Chinese filmmaker Zhang Yimou. A stunning visual experience, sharing stories of Chongqing's old boat trackers. The performance was loved by locals and foreign visitors alike.

Another two days lie ahead, a trip to Tongliang and the dragon fire dance and the Dazu Rock Carvings.
