Chongqing- The 14th Annual Meeting of the Chongqing Mayor's International Economic Advisory Council, or CMIA, is approaching and will be held in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality from September 27 to 28, 2019. But do you know what is the gift for it? It is full of Chongqing elements and called "The Chosen Pepper art silk scarf and tie".

The name “ The Chosen Pepper” implies “The Chosen One”. It is a vivid reflection of Mountain City citizens diligently build their beautiful home, and also a good wish for you to embrace a brighter future.

Chongqing boasts abundant natural resources as it surrounded by magnificent mountains and two great rivers. It has been an import area for China’s silk production, and Bashu silk weaving is famous for its high quality and exquisite workmanship.  

This set of art silk scarf and tie is woven from high-grade silk, representing the highest quality of Bashu silk; the chili pattern is designed by famous Italian painter Giuseppe Carta, which reflects the preference for spicy food of enthusiastic citizens in this Mountain City. After traditional techniques such as multiple printing and dyeing and hand-rolling, the silk-woven art with distinct Chongqing folk characteristic was finally formed.
