Chongqing - On September 19, TLS Chongqing Opened visa application service for the Netherlands. It’s part of an ongoing worldwide drive by the Dutch ministry of foreign affairs to make visa procedures easier.

Mr. Koen Sizoo, the Consul General of Kingdom of the Netherlands in Chongqing, delivered an excellent speech at the opening ceremony. “That’s a good thing for the applicants personally, and for the people handling the applications," Mr. Sizoo said. "But also for our broader goal of facilitating communication between our two countries.” The Netherlands, with its fantastic scenery has attracted more and more tourists from Chongqing. Some Chongqing based companies already have close relations with the Netherlands, and many people travel back and forth regularly. “The Netherlands is an open country that has traditionally welcomed foreign visitors. And fortunately, more and more people from Chongqing are finding the way to the Netherlands. For business travelers, we continually try to simplify visa procedures so that they can spend their time and energy on the actual business activities," said Mr. Sizoo.

TLS Chongqing handles visa applications for The Netherlands, France, and Cyprus. The visa application service is open for citizens and residents of China as well as foreigners who work and study in China.
