Chongqing - The 2019 Chongqing Capital of World Hot Spring Creative Activity started on September 9, according to the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development. Chongqing aims to build itself into a world’s tourist destination for hot springs and international wellness resort.

Short video competition themed with hot spring hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development and the Beibei District People's Government, is scheduled to be held from September to October. The registration period runs between September 9 and September 15.

Participants should register with the participation form, creative initiative idea, and a piece of work similar to the requirements of this competition, and send it to the organizing committee via wwwcbgcn@163.com. If the registration is approved, contestants will go to scenic spots, hotels, and holiday resorts in Chongqing to make short videos. Experts will review and select 30 videos for online popularity. Winner(s) for the first prize will be awarded 200,000 yuan (about 28,000 USD), the second 60,000 yuan and the third prize 30,000 yuan.
