Chongqing Zoo will launch a global naming activity for the four cubs to collect names with beautiful meaning and profound connotations. Different from the previous naming activities, this one should be under the theme of wishes for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Before August 16, people from across the world can leave messages in the official WeChat account of Chongqing Zoo, send emails to 447926669@qq.com, or dial 02368407374 to participate in this activity. After collecting and preliminary selection, ten groups of names will be selected for online voting. The finalists will also be able to attend the naming ceremony for the baby pandas at Chongqing Zoo on September 30, when the final nomenclator will be unveiled in person.
