The Automobile Industry and Intelligent Industry Alliances of Liangjiang New Area were officially launched! Relevant departments in Liangjiang New Area and 60 member enterprises of the two alliances attended the launching ceremony.
Their launch will gather national technical and human resources and stimulate the development of the automobile and intelligent industries in Liangjiang New Area. Besides, an industrial-chain intensive development model will be built to fully enhance the overall competitiveness of enterprises in Liangjiang New Area, thus achieving quality development of this area, even the whole city.

The establishment of the two alliances will help Liangjiang New Area to seize the opportunity of transformation and upgrading and implement the technological innovation-driven development strategy led by Big Data Intelligence, to achieve quality development of the manufacturing industry.
Late February this year saw the Symposium on Quality Development of the Automobile Industry and Symposium on Quality Development of the Electronic Industry in succession, at which ideas of establishing relevant industry alliances were put forward. After over three months of preparation, the Automobile Industry and Intelligent Industry Alliances came into being.
The two alliances mainly feature collaborative innovation
The two alliances mainly feature collaborative innovation. China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CAERI) is the President Unit of the Automobile Industry Alliance. It will cooperate with upstream/midstream/downstream enterprises and relevant universities/institutions in technological R&D, manufacturing, demonstration & application, market development, and other aspects. It also aims to integrate further and optimize resources, improve the industrial chain, promote orderly industrial development, and facilitate the capacity release of the automobile industry in Liangjiang New Area.
This alliance is going to promote the automobile industry development all around by building five platforms of exchange promotion, information decision-making, industry innovation, talent training, and public services.
Sun Lei, General Manager of BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. (Chongqing), was appointed President of the Intelligent Industry Alliance. This alliance will also further integrate the intelligent industrial chain system of Liangjiang New Area, build a deeply integrated industry-university-research innovation system, and promote resource and information sharing. Moreover, it plans to promote the steady development of intelligent manufacturing, gradually improve the industrial layout of chips, LCD panels, smart terminals, core components, and Internet of Things (IoT) in this area, strive for the cooperation of artificial intelligence (AI), Industrial Internet and new-generation ICT, facilitate the transformation of achievements, and continue making intelligent industry one of the pillar industries.
