The China-Europe Railway Express （Chongqing）made 456 trips in the first quarter of this year, a YoY increase of 238%, according to Yuxinou (Chongqing) Logistics Co., Ltd. (Yuxinou for short) on April 14.

This impressive figure can be a continuation of the good momentum of development in 2018, when the number of trips exceeded 1,000, making the China-Europe Railway Express （Chongqing）the first train with a cumulative number of more than 2,000.

There are five trips for the China-Europe Railway Express （Chongqing） to Europ every day, and 456 trips in the first quarter of this year

The first quarter of this year marked the even more striking development momentum of the China-Europe Railway Express （Chongqing）, with 456 trips including 196 departure ones and 260 return ones, averaging 5 trips per day.

Yuxinou gave two factors to explain the increase in the trip. One is the increasing routes and nonstop terminals, which support the freight management. Last year, two routes of Chongqing-Hamburg and Chongqing-Iran were added. Therefore, departure trains could go through more than 30 countries including Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy. Return trips traveled to other regions of China and Southeast Asia through Chongqing. The other can attribute to Chongqing’s multimodal transport system and its prominent position as an international logistics hub.

“The ever-increasing routes and terminals can offer various options for customers. In this connection, we can cultivate new customers.” Yuxinou revealed that many business partners had set up offices in Chongqing to facilitate their cooperation with China-Europe Railway Express （Chongqing） and sell their goods globally, relying on Chongqing’s geographical position and multimodal transport system and through logistics channels including “New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor” and Golden Waterway of the Yangtze River.

“China-Europe Railway Express (Chongqing) stays committed to high-quality development.” Yuxinou expressed it would continue adding trips and attaching more importance to the quality of the trips and actively boost the development of imported vehicles port, and the designated ports of imported grain and biological medicine, thus building Chongqing into a port highland. Moreover, the company added it would also make new breakthroughs in the import of some bulk products and further develop cold-chain transportation, cross-border e-commerce business, parcel post transport, etc.
