We visited more than 40 traditional craftsmen in Chongqing, trying to understand the spirit of craftsmanship. In the villages of the vast land of Chongqing, ancient arts and skills are still well kept. They have accompanied generations growing, migrating, and returning to this place.
What are the memories of people about home in Chongqing? Is it a bite of fish with pickled cabbage with chilies? Or a mellow piece of brown sugar? The flavor will be full of your mouth after a short stay on the tip of your tongue. Moreover, the flavor is more impressive after having a real taste of ups and downs of life.
When we were at our childhood, there was always a kind of flavor imprinted there. It was a strong smell which was full of flavor about home. It could be a smell of vinegar or wine. Even after growing up, it still in our memories. Besides, time will tell the secret of the taste in memory.
