Chongqing - The 458-meter-high skyscraper project of Vanke, located in Hualongqiao, is the tallest under-construction building in Chongqing. But the strange thing is that scaffolds can “climb” automatically! In fact, it is the skyscraper-building machine, which owns the world’s leading technologies, came to Chongqing. Besides this, the machine completed its first jacking on January 4.
How can it finish one story in 4 days?
The machine is like a magic hat covering the building. Meanwhile, the rising hat will bring the growth of skyscraper.
Moreover, materials and equipment required for building the 458-meter super-tall tower amount to nearly 500,000 tons, including 30,000-ton reinforcing bars and 40,000-ton steel structures. Therefore, the platform needs to be more stable and to bear greater weight.
Gong Shenglong, the executive project manager, said the machine also incorporates a steel structure platform, hydro cylinder jacking, safety protection, and other three systems. Thus, the mighty wall-climbing platform can construct one floor in 4 days.
The tallest building in Chongqing
The project is situated in Hualongqiao, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. It covers a total building area of 501,100 square meters. Also, the tower building of Phase II is 458 meters high, ranking the tallest skyscraper (under construction) in Chongqing.
