Oct. 29,2018-iChongqing news What's the essence of Chongqing businessmen, and how could the spirit of them inspire the private economy? Over 400 CEOs will gather in Beibei Chongqing in the next 3 days, try to find the answer when they are attending the 2018 Presidents Meeting of Chongqing Chambers of Commerce in China, and starting a visit to Famous Chinese Enterprises to Beibei District, the local government announced at a news conference today.

According to the press conference, the event is themed with “Innovation and Cooperation for Win-Win Result, a Catalyst for High-Quality Development of Private Economy”. During the three-day event, five sub-events are scheduled to run from October 31 to November 2. As for co-hosts, they are the Beibei District People’s Government and Chongqing Federation of Industry and Commerce. 400 presidents of Chongqing Chambers of Commerce in China will gather to contribute more to the private economy.

The Meeting will be held on November 1. On the same day, the Visit of Famous Chinese Enterprises to Beibei District and Projects Promotion will take place at the same time. All Chongqing Chambers of Commerce in China will pool their strength to forge brands.
Symposium on the Development of Private Economy will be held on November 2, 2018. The topic is “high-quality development of the private economy led by reform and innovation”.
Last but not least, the 15th Session of Friendly Chamber Councils in China and Discussion among Beibei’s Friendly Chambers of Commerce will also be held during the three-day event.
Beibei District is located at the foot of Jinyun Mountain and nestled alongside the Jialing River. As an urban function expansion area of Chongqing, it is a key component of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area. It covers 775 km², with a population of 770,000. From January to September this year, Beibei District has 10,011 newly added market entities, increased by 42.5% compared with the same period of the previous year.
