According to Chongqing Administration of Municipal Engineering, intelligence will greatly empower the urban management.

The digital urban management will be utilized to reinforce the public safety and security on the digital management platform. Furthermore, updating the system and data base, optimizing the operation and keeping fluent exchange of information from inside and outside will make the platform work more efficiently. In addition, the digital urban management will get expanded in scale, enriched in content and prolonged in operation.

The general survey and data update will be conducted in regard to underground spaces, rivers and lakes, scenic areas, roads and bridges, tunnels, landscaping, etc. which helps to build and improve urban management data base and platform of public environment, facilities, resources, etc.

The intelligent urban management infrastructure will be improved by upgrading Visualized Information System which applied in supervision on urban public infrastructure and construction, enriching methods of data acquisition, applying the Perceptual System of Internet of Things to urban management, and utilizing intelligent identification, stereo perception, accurate data acquisition and dynamic entry of urban operating environment status, location, etc.

In general, the utilization of Internet, big data and artificial intelligence will make the urban management more precise, smart, and people friendly.
