The 9^th China Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival launched in Chongqing on July 26^th. The organizer released 16 selected routes to travel in the Three Gorges either by road or fairy. Till the end of November, a serie of activities will be held in Wanzhou District of Chongqing and counties along the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.

In October, the first live performance of Back to the Three Gorges, directed by Zhang Yimou, will be held at Kuimen in Fengjie, Chongqing. The whole performance will based on the poetry and poets of the Three Gorges.

On November 8^th, the World River Songs will be held in Wanzhou District, Chongqing. Excellent chorus groups at home and abroad will be invited to perform on the cruises parked on the bank of Ping Lake.

From November 7^thto November 10^th, Back to the Yangtze River and Three Gorges activity will be held along the Three Gorges in Chongqing and Hubei Province. 200 international tourists who visited the Three Gorges 20 years ago will be invited to revisit for free.

Fengjie: the Qutang Gorge, the Xiaozhai Tiankeng, or the Heavenly Pit (the world’s deepest sinkhole), the Mount Changlong (a holy shrine of Taoism), the Cliff Inscription on Mount Baiyan
